I’m 37 and I still cannot say the name of my college that I graduated from 23 years ago. It’s just one of those things that as a stutter you’re just gonna have to deal with. I usually get it on the third try though, so it’s not a big deal Edit: Also you really don’t want to associate stuttering with a word. That stigma is REALLY hard to undo. If it really bugs you, practice makes perfect. With People who you are comfortable with let them know you struggle with that word and just randomly say it to them. They’ll understand so it won’t be weird. And then you can work it into conversations with people you are less comfortable with. The goal is to detach the stigma of the word by just saying more and more until the confidence is there.
