I want to first state clearly: do not mimic stuttering or laugh about stuttering! I endured that growing up. I also had job discrimination due to my stuttering. If you are a public figure and you say "he talks like a remix" or 'get the words out Joe,' you may offend people. The precarious position we are in right now is "can anyone comment about Joe's speech pattern, choice of words, accuracy of recollection, and/or the fluency of his words?" Now that his speech is on the front burner of the political landscape what if he is interrupted by a fellow democrat in the next debate? One thing is for sure, America has never seen so much publicity given to stuttering. It is my hope that history shows this to be helpful to the cause of stuttering and advocacy for pws. I am not politically biased here. I am looking at stuttering from 60,000 feet
