Darn, its hard. I'm 77f and somehow made it through a reasonably happy, successful marriage and happy life. My suggestion is to never stop trying to get help. Whether its speech therapy, psychological therapy, supportive parents, friends, medications or anything that gives you hope that you're actively trying. If you live near a university there's usually a speech or communicative disorder department that can help at a reasonable cost or no cost. Don't give up. Every day the solution is getting closer.
