I am right with you. I am 25 and work a stressful office job where my superiors put me on the spot to answer difficult questions sometimes. I usually stutter, especially if I am stressed out, but you know what? They don't care, focus on the content of what I am saying, and react to that. When I REALLY struggle during a sentence, I just smile and say "man I really can't talk today" and it completely diffuses the situation. No one cares how you speak if you know what you are doing and consistently demonstrate that. Growing up with a stutter taught me to measure myself by my actions and ability alone, and people these days are pretty relieved to meet humans who avoid trying to get ahead with nothing but hot air and empty promises. In a weird way, being deprived of the option to try to bullshit your way through the early stages of a career with a silver tongue is a strength because all you care about is objective measurements of your success and ability.
