I started Citalopram 12 years ago to help with general anxiety. I didn’t know anything about it. After 6 months I noticed my stuttering went from a 6 to a 1. I’m 54 and have always stuttered. What I noticed was the anticipatory stutter stopped. I noticed a could say my name without the feeling of dread. I still stutter but it doesn’t bother me and I speak with great fluency. I enjoy speaking now. I’m not hiding anymore. I’d try it and see if it helps for you. I take 4g each day. I did go off it 6 years ago and felt awful and my stuttering came back with a vengeance. I went back on and will never stop it again. It changed my life.
