I really think a lot of people don't realize how much physical well being affects your stuttering. I moved a lot as a kid, and trying to make new friends while having a stutter sucked. I started running track in the 8th grade and quickly realized cardio really helped calm my stuttering down. I've posted before on how later on in life hot yoga would basically make my stutter go away. 1.5 hours in 100 degree room. I can't do that anymore but it did work. to this day, , I know that too much caffeine causes blocks and stuttering. Too much sugar causes the same thing, also. I don't do this anymore, but smoking pot caused a lot blockage and stuttering. I need to work out, some sort of cardio, at least 4-5 times a week. It's just part of my life now. I explored meditation and did get positive results from that also. It does get better but you need to work at it, and find out what works for you and what doesn't work for you. You will always go through times of your life where it gets worse, you just need to find out how to stop it.
