Yes. Ecopipam is a D1 antagonist. So it will reduce dopamine from binding to that D1 receptor. On the circuitry that I laid out, it will inhibit the direct pathway. In my opinion, ecopipam had no business being tested in stuttering, it is not in line with the circuitry to want to try a D1 antagonist and it was discontinued because it did not show efficacy.
