College courses that is stutter friendly or most of the people are aware This is my 2nd time posting here and English isn't my first language so I'll try my best for you to understand. So, I'm currently taking my year gap because of my mental health and I'm still undecided what course I should take for college. Pandemic and my Senior High School Years really took a toll on my mental health. It really drained me to the point that I can't interact well anymore with other people and it also affected me academically. So, that's why I decided to take a year gap for now to fix myself because my family can't afford therapy and to decide on what course I should be picking because I don't want to pick recklessly. I'd like to take SLP Course because I think they're more aware with people with stuttering. However, only 4 universities here in the Philippines offer that course. The first one is a state university that has a high requirements to be able to pass their entrance exam. The other one is private and affordable but too far where I reside. And the other two are private universities that are too expensive. I'm not rich nor smart so I'm not really getting my hopes up. I'm just wondering if pre-med courses are the best to chose to because I just want to have a comfortable environment where people are aware of stutterers and accepts them. I highly seek your advice or suggestions/recommendations. It would mean a lot to me. Thank you very much!
