It's funny that you throw out 30 as a milestone. I'll be 30 soon. And my acceptance of my stutter has improved a lot since I was \~20. I had a tough year my junior year at college when I was interning. I had days it felt as if I blocked 24/7. It was frustrating. This when when I started searching for others who stuttered too. The stuttering community has helped me a lot. So I think being around others who struggle with the same issue helps relieve the anxiety of it all. But like OP says, "we are strong and unqiue."
