Is speech therapy worth it as a adult? How does it feel to know you’re never going to make it to your full potential socially (which dictates a lot of QOL)? Knowing that if you could just do something as get the words out more smoothly, you would be completely different? More outgoing? That one joke they slipped away… the perfect joke that would of made everyone laugh, but instead killed the vibe and left everyone in confusion? How does it feel to isolate yourself live restricted? Like I’m mentally claustrophobic with everything I’m holding back?
