Can't say it is a 'technique', but I tried 'desensitization', where I distracted myself off fluenecy. I tried to give up focusing on my fluency after I hit high school and back then I thought I should just let go of my stuttering and what was astonishing my stuttering was really nearly gone! At least back then I could finish normal speeches with my classmates and others, and no one could recognize me as a PWS. Btw, I don't think focusing on your fluency is a good goal for PWS. After i watched William Parry's vids on youtube I learned natural fluency can't be forced out and due to different neurologies from normal speaker's, we PWS can't focus on fluency! Just an analogy:You can't fly like a bird, because of different physiological basises.
