Totally awesome topic. I did my college app essay on my stutter and how I pretty much overcame it every time I was engaged in public speaking. I did forensics which is the National Speech and Debate association (competitive public speaking and acting). Check it out on youtube. I went on to compete in many national tournaments. I wrote the essay on the idea that I went from not being able to speak at all to competing against normal kids despite being constantly teased as a child.
