This is lovely! I recently had a phone interview where the interviewer was not the most comforting about my stutter. She kept interrupting me and aggressively saying ‘calm down’ each time I stuttered (despite me saying that I am calm, I just talk this way). My advice is to keep doing what you’re doing! If the candidate doesn’t mention their stutter, don’t mention it either. Act calm, wait for them to finish, don’t act like you’re in a rush. If they do mention it, I’d give them an opportunity to talk about it. People tend to focus on the negatives of having a stutter and don’t focus on the important skills it can teach you. Well done!
