A major factor in (largely) overcoming

A major factor in (largely) overcoming Started stuttering in 2nd grade, was pretty bad then but has gotten better every year, to the point where I rarely stutter when talking to people (still suck at presentations and reading aloud though) and have turned from a quiet insecure kid to a confident charismatic guy who makes people laugh. A major factor in my amazing growth has been **watching talk shows**. I never watched with the intention to improve stuttering, but for some reason I naturally gravitated to talk shows because I appreciated people's ability to *speak* when I couldn't. Seeing that whole process: someone coming out to a cheering crowd, sitting with the host and having a real conversation (I only learned it was scripted later on so I always assumed it as 100% genuine) sort of gave me the ability to do that myself; talk to people one on one, be natural, make jokes, and be charismatic. # Anyone else have a weird/unusual reason they attribute to largely reducing stuttering?
