I don’t know what they may be called now. But my SLP called them “secondaries”. I.e. they happened secondarily, in addition to the stuttering. The tension in my neck and shoulders would contort my head to the right and my body would twist up like I was seizing. I don’t recall that the secondaries were treated any differently than the rest of my stutter in therapy. They were just another aspect of it. And the same techniques I was taught for the stutter took care of the secondaries too.
