I personally feel that public speaking should be voluntary. Stutterers shouldn't be forced to be humiliated. I failed classes in college solely because I chose not to do oral presentations. I've always had a special appreciation for the teachers I had in my life who asked for a volunteer to read something aloud and never forced anyone.
