I have this same worry and would never want anyone, especially my own child to deal with this. However, I think we also limit our perspective and understanding into focalizing on solely our stutter and failing to realizing that a million other things can go wrong. God forbid anything happens to your son, but what I mean is that many children are born with various disabilities and no one can predict what will happen in their life. Someone born perfectly healthy can end up losing their eyesight or legs at anytime for example. Ultimately, we control nothing and the ability to garner this awareness will help you be a father without thinking that you did this or it's some wretched curse placed upon your son.
