Yeah I have a problem with authority too. I’m 32 now so my parents are no longer authoritarian figures so I don’t have a problem speaking with them. I’ve also learned to not give a shit about my stutter so that’s helped a lot. Unfortunately that’s something that only comes with age and for most of us it’s a lesson that would have been helpful when we were young.
