Yeah, sure, that's interesting. It doesn't change my opinion or experience, though. I remember when people I'd known for a while found out I had a stutter and they'd say, "Oh, you hide it well." I'm not hiding it, I'm just trying to speak. Many people are quiet around new people. I'm not concealing, just getting used to you. I long ago realised the importance of self-acceptance, but that doesn't mean stopping looking for solutions to problems and addressing the root cause.
