I was always involved in clubs and groups through college. Always had several groups of friends based…sports, neighbors, clubs, etc. I won’t say I was the leader or “most respected”, but definitely able to get people’s attention when talking. A lot has to do with your personality. You still have to interesting to be “popular”. It could be from sports, skills, smarts, hobbies. I’m sure good looks and charisma make people popular, but that’s likely out of your control. Overall, find your interests and don’t let stuttering hold you back.
