It may not help stutterers just yet, but it may help the scientists (or whomever) interested in a cure. By having a better understanding of the cause of stuttering there is a better chance at developing a cure. In this case, knowing that it's to do with insufficient blood flow to the brain can steer them in the right direction, perhaps developing medication to increase blood flow, or something.
