I appreciate your advice. But I cannot accept it. I do not see my stutter as a major barrier in my life. I’ve stuttered for over 20 years of my life. In fact, I’ve worked on this speech impediment for a long time in many ways. What I also want to drive home is that blanket claims pose issues for society, as they morph and distort the truth by throwing nuance to the curb. I’ve been in your shoes, as I was just like you when I was younger. However, just as I am to you, you’re an internet stranger. So this conversation probably doesn’t even matter.
