This is a really bad suggestion I'm sorry you got. It is introducing unintelligiblity into your speaking pattern and you'll have to work to unlearn it. These kinds of "tricks" may bring short term, novel relief but they are not reliable. Plus you don't want to be pronouncing Z everytime you stuttering on a D word.
