Talking with an 'Accent' I stutter pretty often. One thing that I feel doesn't help, is a I'm a very talkative person. I love conversations and learning about people. I'm a huge people person. I've been told I'm a very charismatic person. I feel like I could be much more so if I could just communicate properly. One part that doesn't help is when im talking I ramble on, and just let my words flow. Which makes my stutter worse. So for the past few years I've started talking with a slight 'accent'. Not gon full aussie on em, mate. But just slightly changing how I speak. (Low key to more what my ideal voice would sound like.) This has forced me to think ahead words, phrases, and sometimes sentences, which has severely decreased my stuttering. It's by no means cured. I still stutter very very frequently, but the difference has been night and day. Anybody else do something along these lines? Opinions? Helpful tricks? Thank you! :)
