I didn't think I could become a public school teacher because of my stutter. The prospect of leading a class of 25 students was daunting. However, I worked not internalizing my stuttering. It took me awhile to understand that my name isn't "stutter." I am not how I speak; I am a person who is worthy of a good life, like you. Tell the person who discouraged you to screw off. In my experience, I have learned that to curb your stuttering, you must be in the moment. You got this, fellow redditor! :-D
