I’m on the other end to this completely. I work full time at a bowling alley. I interact with people daily that I would never speak to on the street. I work front desk, so I’m talking with them and helping them with their issues. I can say with confidence that my stutter has never been worse. They will mock and laugh at me most every time. I’m 23 and my stutter is my biggest insecurity because it’s the one thing I can’t control, so when they point it out, it becomes worse because I’ve become aware that it’s happening.
