I see it as part of my job like any other part. When im explaining something to a new colleague, the only thing I care about is that they're understanding what im teaching them. So I frequently check in, make sure im being clear. make sure they're grasping what they need to know. If they aren't, I go back and explain it again or explain it a different way. It does take longer, but it's much better than the alternative of them moving ahead without understanding what they need to do their work. That's unfair to them and also insufficient execution of your role. I repeat myself several times all the time. The only the thing the new employee cares about is learning what they need to learn. So take your time and make sure they understand. If it takes longer because of your stutter, then it takes longer.
