My dad does this sometimes, but it's extremely obvious that he is uncomfortable. I'm actually someone that has a pretty bad nervous laugh, so I guess I get it from him, but when I am nervously laughing I usually am really mad at myself. It's possible other people feel the same when they are laughing.
