I’ve heard stuttering described as an iceberg before. There are the visible effects of stuttering, and then are a lot more invisible effects below the surface. Even if one day you may not stutter a lot, you’re still impacted by its invisible effects. I have good months and bad months, but even in my better months it’s something that impacts me. It’s weird though having to talk about a stutter that someone hasn’t noticed.
