I second this, people in college are way more open and understanding than the people in high school. I wanted to drop dead thinking about meeting new people at uni, it'll be way better then you think though! My one professor had a rule that we all had to speak at least three times in class to add to the classroom conversation. I straight up told him I wasn't going to because i dont have the ability to blurt out things like others can, he totally understood. Even meeting new people and opening up about stuttering with them helped me a bit. I thought they'd think i was weird or something, but everyones chill and understanding about it. This is cliche, but being yourself, opening up, and realizing you're not alone with this will help you. Good luck with your first year, it won't be nearly as bad as you think. :)
