Well actually I would tell my parents this because when my stuttering first developed at 2-3 years old - an SLP would have been helpful and maybe even prevented the problem. But instead they said the insurance didn't cover it so they decided not to. Very stupid decision but I don't have a time machine so I can only work on myself as I am now.
