Wanted to add that there is a saying, "You miss every shot you don't take." It took me a long time to realise I was missing out on a lot by being trapped in fear and self-doubt. I am far from perfect now. When I think about avoiding something, I circle back to this saying and try to give whatever it is a go. I have found this mindset has improved my life a lot.
