I learned a bit of ASL in university. It was just to keep someone company in the class but it was pretty fun. I'm quite interested in language (although it's not my field) so trying sign was super interesting. Unfortunately I didn't get far enough in to test if I stuttered in sign. I've been tempted to try it again because honestly sometimes it helped to sign a word I couldn't say. Almost certainly just a distraction but at 20 I took anything I could get.
