College zooms

College zooms Hey I’ve started 2nd year in college this semester and I study languages, last year in my classes there was a lot of oral work and we had to speak a lot, I found it tough but we were in class so I was forced to do it. This year on zoom I find myself faking connection issues or just straight up leaving a zoom if I know I’m next to speak, I feel like I’m betraying myself and my learning because I don’t want to embarass myself in front of my peers. What do I do?
