Damn, it sounds like they went to alot of trouble to get rid of you. Did they at least give you a reason why they wanted you to resign? You should maybe talk to a lawyer and see what they think of the situation, but since it was within the probation period, it could be difficult to pursue any kind of legal action against them unfortunately.
