Are you entitled? Hell no. In fact, I'd argue that most, if not all, of the things you mentioned are doing more harm than good in the long run. These sound like avoidance techniques which generally lead towards more anxiety and negative feelings. Because these lead us to try and further hide the fact that we stutter. And we typically hide things that we're ashamed of. So therefore, if we're supposed to hide our stutter, that must mean we're supposed to be ashamed of it.... I'm with you. Fuck that. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Wouldn't it be better to feel comfortable just being you? That's the healthy approach in my opinion. Acceptance will lead to a happier life I believe. I've spent most of my life trying to hide my stutter. It's exhausting and ineffective and makes you feel like shit all the time. And there is no reason to feel like shit all the time. You're awesome just how you are. You don't have to change a thing.
