I rarely replace. It's an evasion tactic that's best reserved for rare occasions. I like to say the word that I want to say, instead of spending effort and energy trying to run multiple lines of dialogue. When I used to do that out of habit, conversations were much more exhausting. Nowadays, I simply try to stick to my initial words as much as possible. We shouldn't add more hassle to our already taxing situation. :)
