I know how hard and dissappointingn it can be, but you can’t control what others think or do. We have to remember we’re doing the best we can do under the circumstance. Everyone has their own impediments. Some are just more visable than others. Our’s is more visable than immorality, larceny, or racial prejudice. If we realize we are not our stutter, that we are much more than that, and there will be jerks everywhere, its helpful. Relationships are the testing ground of chacter. If a person drops you based upon your stutter, threir only looking at the surface, not your character. About employment, not everyone gets acceped for every position. The paticular skillset for a job is often the criterion. You might not be the best fit for a call center, but if you have another skillset like programming or accounting, your IN. If your struggling now, try to gain a skill where verbal communication isn’t primarily required. Trades such as welders, lab tecnicians, plumbers, electricians don’t reqiuire university degrees and very well paid and don’t required much talking. Good luck, Sue
