Before I quit and opened my own business I was an operations manager for a walmart warehouse. I over seen 3 departments per shift and a little over 100 people. Constant meetings, zoom or in person, and a constant revolving door of upset associates. It wasn't horrible! I used these experiences to practice breathing and calming techniques. I don't personally like having to talk to anyone but I needed a paycheck and it forced me to practice on a daily basis. Not everyone will understand and some people won't be nice. I heard a few people refer to me as skip, like skipping record. As stressful as that was and embarrassing at times I definitely can say I appreciated the practice. Sometimes I found it easier to tell people in advance before speaking that I had a stutter and other times it was easier to be confident and just be me.
