I stutter in every situation except VR Chat

I stutter in every situation except VR Chat I recently decided to get a VR headset to play with a few lifelong friends. I have been a stutterer since i was a little kid, like many. I stutter in every situation, on voice chat on consoles(or pc), in person, and in phone calls. My friends and i recently played VrChat since they thought it would be a good first game to play. I was obviously nervous because of my stutter, and i get severe anxiety when meeting new people and having to talk to them. We joined a world, and played about an hour or so, and talked to dozens of complete strangers. I didn’t really pay attention at the moment, but after we were done, they told me that I barely even stuttered, maybe not even at all. Looking back i can actually recall that. I think its really odd? Because when your on VR, your basically standing infront of a person and talking to them, like you do in real life. I was just wondering if anyone has any clue as to why? Or any insight? Its just completely mind boggling to me.
