My knowledge of DAF is VERY dated and limited... But it was my understanding that it was never intended for long term use. My doctor showed me I could be fluent using a DAF device. That was the one and only time I used DAF. Just to show me I was capable of fluency. After that, it was about doing the work to become fluent.
