I have posted this here before as a comment: I’m in my late twenties, have a severe stutter myself and have been told that I’m good looking. I have had plenty of dates, affairs, flings and relationships despite having a severe stutter which got to a point of very severe during first dates. It sucks, yes, and I also sometimes get sad that I probably won’t be able to go to a girl I’ve made eye contact with at a bar and have flirty smalltalk with her in this life. What helped me was online dating. I know that online dating can be a shitshow. But if you have the looks and can set up an interesting profile it’s really a blessing for people with a severe stutter. I ALWAYS disclose my stutter before first dates, even if it’s obvious that it will be only a one time thing. Except for a few exceptions, everyone has been cool with it. And those who weren’t, well I am honestly glad I didn’t meet them. It’s not impossible to date as someone with a severe stutter.
