I feel like most stutterers won't agree but I actually really hate it when people are overly patient with me and my stutter. Like they just stay quiet and stare at me until I can get the words out. It puts the pressure on way more and gives me too much time to get all in my head. I would rather them chuckle and say something like "it's okay slow down" or "try again" and make light humor out of it. When they're too patient I feel like they're treating me like a sick puppy
