Why do people think people with a stutter can’t find a loving partner?

Why do people think people with a stutter can’t find a loving partner? Yesterday I made a post on another sub about finding a woman and people saw I am active in this subreddit and they immediately said stuff like ‘you have a stutter, what makes you think she has no better options?’. And I have heard this multiple times already. Why do people assume that people with a stutter will not find a loving partner? My uncle (who also has a stutter, yes, genes) has a (very) attractive SO (my aunt) and they met when my uncle still had a (very) severe stutter (now it’s more mild) and I got told that she never cared about his stutter. What makes people think this?
