Probably won’t help but this is what I’ve done over my life. I’m 22 now, for the first 21 years of my life I isolated myself and that left me with almost nobody to talk to. At the age of 7 my dad looked me in my face and said “I don’t even think you stutter, I think you’re faking it.” That kinda messed me up. But I came to realize that no matter what disability you have or what you do in general, whether positive or negative. People will always talk shit about you. You have to try to live for yourself, don’t let the words of other people fuck with what you wanna do in life. Easier said than done I know, but it’s the only way you won’t take your stutter as seriously as you currently do. Of course you’ll have your bad days, but that’s life. If you can manage to get back up and continue on after your slumps… well you’re doing better than a lot of other people. Hope this helped, I just kind of rambled my thoughts. Feel free to reach out and message me if you want to talk… or not. I’m always available. Hope you find your confidence TLDR: Fuck peoples opinions of you, focus on how you feel about you and try to improve that.
