I was rejected at Army Job because i stammer. It was very high profile job where it starts with Competitive exam. Masters degree holders from whole province sit in exam and around 100 to 200 people are selected based on exam results. Those people go through Physical exam and then 1 initial interview and the the final one. I reached the final interview. So by then they knew i stammer, one of them noticed that i dont stammer when i im looking at the text. There were three people, other two politely said you are not fit for the role we are looking for because of your communication skills. The one gentleman though argued that stammering should not stop me for getting selected. He went out and called his supervisor and explained the situation but apparently they needed perfect people. So he cameback apologized and let me go. I did not feel bad at the start because i kind of tried to understand. I was young and thought of that job as some big deal and never really thought i will get it. So applied for other conventional jobs and get rejected constantly for 2 years on all of them. I was not super smart but i was not bad either that is why i kept clearing initial stages. So it became evident that im not gonna get any job according to academic qualification. So i had to apply for jobs which were lower then my qualifications.
