I don't want you to take this the wrong way or think of me as being harsh but this has to be said since most of us in this thread are likely thinking it. You are lucky you only just now started to stutter. Like another commenter said, many of us have stuttered since we were kids and it s***s having to grow up with it. Kids don't often understand why it seems "the cat got your tongue" and will make fun of and bully you over it. My own sister stopped wanting to be around me with her friends or in any public place because I was "the school weirdo" with my stutter. As you get older people are usually more understanding, though still often times harsh even if they don't intend to be. You're best bet is to find a speech therapist who has personal experience in stuttering. I know a great guy here in Atlanta who helped me quite a bit. He stuttered as long and has now mostly overcome it to where it is now barely noticeable. Message me if you want a friend to talk to or want his info and I will gladly help you out.
