Stuttering is normally portrayed for either comedy or character development. "Ha ha stuttering is funny and means the character is stupid" probably needs no further explanation, it's bad. I also don't like how it's portrayed for character development. Often the character just needs to find their confidence and believe in themselves to be cured. Or if they just relaxed more they'd be fine. I wish it worked like that.
