The unfortunate truth is we’re only 1% of the population and the world just doesn’t know what to do with us yet. Until society catches up, how people treat us is entirely up to us for the time being. Use these experiences to build mental strength and develop tough skin. Don’t ever let them see blood in the water, own your stutter and let people know jabs directed to you will always be at a cost. You even start to have fun with it, you develop a pride in in your ability to talk shit once you get the hang of it. This obviously isn’t a cure all, I still have my bouts of self doubt and depression, but I honestly can’t remember the last time I was made fun of that hurt my feelings.
