I'm a 25 year old male that stutters from mild to high and it definitely for me comes out worse if I an anxious (mostly social anxiety). I'm not a fairly confident person but when I am confident I tend to stutter significantly less. I went to a speech therapist for a couple of sessions and it came to my attention that not stuttering requires a lot of mental strength in the sense that it is draining and you have to be CONSISTENTLY be conscious of your speech. I now know that I'll stutter less if I mentally prepare for a conversation prior to having. Just my 0.02. Thanks for sharing by the way!
